Redesigned Honda Accord Sets Midsize Sedan Benchmark
The all-new 2023 Honda Accord is set to arrive at Ed Voyles Honda in Marietta, Georgia soon, and marks the 11th generation of the class-leading midsize sedan. The new Honda Accord will be available in six well-equipped trim levels, and features either a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or a powerful and efficient hybrid powertrain.
Honda was also pleased to announce that the new Accord will be the brand’s first-ever vehicle with available Google services built-in. A 3-year unlimited data plan is included, and drivers will be able to access Google Assistant, Maps, and the Play store for keeping connected on-the-go. With a 12.3-inch color touchscreen, it’s just as easy as using a phone or tablet, and you don’t even need to use your phone’s data connection.
For the first time ever, four of the Accord’s six trim levels will come standard with a hybrid powertrain. The hybrid system has been updated to output 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque, while also delivering up to 51 mpg in the city and 48 mpg combined (EX-L trim). Honda estimates that the hybrid Accord models will make up about 50 percent of annual sales.
In addition to updated powertrains and technology, the 2023 Honda Accord gets all new styling inside and out as well. The exterior has a low, broad stance with a sleek profile and powerful front-end styling. The interior features even higher quality materials than previous models, with special attention paid to how the controls and switchgear feel.
All 2023 Honda Accord models also feature the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance features, including Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and a Lane Keeping Assist System. Honda is also giving 2023 Accord buyers complimentary maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first).
