Powering the first-ever electrified Prelude will be Honda’s two-motor hybrid-electric system, known for its smoothness, responsiveness, and power. This is the same acclaimed system found in the Civic Hybrid, which was named the 2025 North American Car of the Year. For the first time, this award-winning hybrid system will be coupled with the innovative Honda S+ Shift system. This new drive mode builds upon Linear Shift Control, further enhancing the Prelude’s sporty yet comfortable grand touring feel. As a result, the sixth-generation Prelude is engineered to deliver high levels of driver exhilaration and engagement, offering unmatched driving dynamics and a fun-to-drive feel, all while maintaining comfort for daily use.
