Takata Airbag Recall Information


The factory recall of Takata airbag inflation systems may affect you if you own a 2001 – 2015 Honda vehicle. Ed Voyles Honda has an effective customer service system in place for replacement of Takata airbag inflators in Honda vehicles currently under recall. If you have received a recall notice, please contact our Honda service center to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired for free.

If you are not sure if your vehicle has been recalled you can check online at: http://owners.honda.com/service-maintenance/recalls. This website allows you to either enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or use a drop down menu to select any Honda vehicle by year and model. A toll free Honda Customer Service Recall line is also available at (888) 234-2138.

American Honda continues to urge owners of Honda vehicles affected by the Takata airbag inflator recalls to get their vehicles repaired at authorized dealers as soon as possible. Older vehicles, especially 2001-2003 model year vehicles, have a heightened risk of an airbag inflator rupture and pose the greatest safety risk.
