Honda Pilot, Ridgeline & HR-V Receive Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Awards
Editors of Consumer Guide® Automotive have granted the 2017 Honda Pilot, Ridgeline and HR-V Best Buy Awards. The new Pilot was awarded the best midsize crossover/SUV title, Ridgeline was named best compact pickup truck and the HR-V earned the new subcompact crossover/SUV best buy award.
The Consumer Guide Automotive Awards are designed to help consumers select the best vehicle for their needs. Each year over 150 new vehicles are test driven and measured on multiple factors. Based on objective ratings and dollar value compared to other vehicles in the same class, Best Buy award winners are chosen.
Honda Winning Features:
With an abundance of comfort and safety features, impressive cargo and passenger space as well as remarkable fuel efficiency, the Honda Pilot was awarded the Best Buy title for the midsize crossover SUV class. Specific features from “Honda Sensing” safety technology such as lane-departure warning, road departure mitigation and adaptive cruise control were considered best in this vehicle class.
The all-new Honda Ridgeline was recognized for offering the best comfort, convenience and on-road driving dynamics of any small pickup. Practical utility features, new technology and a front-wheel drive chassis with independent rear suspension all contributed to the winning Best Buy title in the compact-pickup segment.
Excellent cargo room and passenger space helped earn the Honda HR-V Best Buy award. Editors noted the folding seat bottoms of the second row seat for use in hauling tall items. Lively handing and a comfortable ride were also predominant factors in setting this subcompact SUV apart from the crowd.
Ed Voyles Honda currently has a wide selection of these Best Buy winners in stock now. We invite you to come test drive the new 2017 Honda Pilot, Honda HR-V or Honda Ridgeline soon and see why these award winning vehicles are at the top of their class.
