2017 Honda Civic EX Wins 2017 “KBB Best Auto Tech” Award
The new 2017 Honda Civic EX recently received the 2017 Kelly Blue Book Best Auto Tech Award for 2017. This honor is awarded by KBB editors to vehicles considered to have the most advanced infotainment, convenience and active safety technology. Features such as the Civic’s available touchscreen Display Audio interface with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility as well as the Honda Sensing suite of advanced technology, helped the Civic EX gain the “Best Auto Tech” Value Award.
Each year the KBB Team of automotive experts examines vehicles in multiple categories to compare current technology, its practicality and how easy it is to use. Vehicles equipped with new technology which enhance the driving experience and improve overall safety are awarded top titles.
The Honda Civic is a favorite with the KBB team as it was also recently named as one of their Best Buy winners. When equipped with Honda Sensing, the Honda Civic EX offers features that KBB author, Zach Vlasuk described as “cutting-edge features once reserved for vehicles costing three times as much.”
Features such as passive entry with push-button start, automatic headlight control, an electronic parking brake, digital driver information display, multi-angle backup camera and 8-speaker audio system all helped to set the Civic apart from other vehicles in the same class. Safety features that caught the attention of KBB editors include Honda’s lane watch system, adaptive cruise control, automatic pre-collision braking, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist.
Needless to say we are thrilled that Kelly Blue Book experts are as impressed with this innovative Honda car as we are. If you would like to learn more about the new 2017 Honda Civic and its available features or technology please contact our Honda Dealership serving Atlanta, GA.
