Honda has been named “Best Value Brand” for 2017 in the Non-Luxury Brand category by Kelly Blue Book. This is the third consecutive year that Honda has received this prestigious title. Auto manufacturers recognized by KBB in the Best Value categories are those that offer brand attributes that customers appreciate and pay attention to when making automobile purchasing decisions.

Each year the Kelly Blue Book Strategic Insights team surveys thousands of visitors to the KBB site. The results are used to identify consumers’ perceptions of various automotive brands as part of their annual Brand Image Awards. Information collected from consumers is used to determine the Best Overall Brand, Most Trusted Brand, Best Performance Brand and more.

Kelly Blue Book Brand Image Awards include 13 winners across seven different categories. Trophies are presented to automakers at the annual New York Auto Show. This year the KBB team has once again recognized Honda vehicles for their reliability, refinement and exceptional resale value. 2017 Honda Civic Si Coupe & Sedan

The first ever turbocharged Honda Civic Si Coupe and Sedan recently made their debut on Honda’s YouTube channel. These two all-new models will be arriving at dealerships next month.

What makes these two new models exceptional is the high-performance, high-torque 1.5-liter, directed-injected and turbocharged DOHC in-line 4-cylinder engine with dual variable cam timing (dual VTC). The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission for a more exhilarating driving experience and increased torque output.

The new 2017 Civic Si is constructed with a more rigid body with a highly upgraded chassis and drive components. New upgrades include dual-pinion adaptive electric power steering, sport tuned suspension an adaptive damper system and more rigid stabilizer bars.

Drivers of the new 2017 Honda Civic Si Sedan and Coupe will have their choice of driving modes: Normal or Sport. The default normal mode offers a controlled yet comfortable driving option while sport mode utilizes suspension damping characteristics and adjusts steering and throttle responses for a more taut and sporty driving experience.

New exterior features on the Civic Si models include aggressive black “wing” front fascia with larger side air intake valves, larger side vent features and a deck lid spoiler incorporating a LED brake light. New 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with a model-exclusive two-tone finish and a chrome center-mounted polygonal exhaust finisher all set these new Civics apart from previous generations.

Sporty interior features such as Si-exclusive bolstered front sport seats with red stitching, stitched Si logos, leather shift boot with aluminum shift knob, red driver’s TFT meter, illuminated audio system, aluminum sport pedals and a dry metal carbon instrument panel all communicate that these new models have been designed with racing DNA.
