10th Generation Honda Accord World Debut
Although Honda has only released a concept sketch of the new 10th generation 2018 Honda Accord, the world will soon get a sneak peak at this dramatically styled sedan. On July 14, 2017 the new Honda Accord will make its global debut via YouTube Livestream.
Described as the most fun-to-drive, premium midsize sedan, the Honda Accord has been a top choice of American car buyers since 2010. In fact, the Accord has been the leader in retail sales in the midsize sedan segment for four consecutive years (2013-2016) and the 2017 Honda Accord has been named Best Buy of the Year among mid-size cars by Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.
The new 2018 Honda Accord will be available with three powerful and efficient powertrains. These include two new direct-injected and turbocharged engines which will be paired with either a new 10-speed CVT automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission, depending upon the engine type. The new Accord will also be available with Honda’s next-generation two-motor hybrid powertrain. Complete descriptions of the new Accord powertrain design and performance capacity will be presented during the upcoming global debut.
As the first vehicle from a Japanese automaker to be manufactured in America, the Accord has carved its own niche in the US sedan market. In the past 35 years over 11 million Honda Accords have been built at American facilities. The Accord has been in continuous production at the Honda plant in Marysville, Ohio since 1982. To date, more than 13 million Honda Accords have been purchased by American car buyers since the model was first launched in 1976.
The newly designed 10th Generation Honda Accord will reflect decades of quality craftsmanship, fresh exterior and interior styling as well as enhanced performance and driving dynamics. This new model is highly anticipated and our Honda Dealership serving Atlanta, GA is anxious to include it in the new 2018 Honda lineup. The 2018 Honda Accord global debut can be seen on July 14th at 11:00 a.m. EDT here: honda.us/2018AccordReveal
